Per avere lo status di bot, occorre: Registrare un'utenza con la parola bot compresa nel nome. La pagina utente del bot dovrebbe riportare le indicazioni per contattare il manovratore del bot stesso. Annunciare in questa pagina le principali funzionalità del bot, i campi di intervento previsti, il software utilizzato (e.g. AutoWikiBrowser, PyWikipediaBot, ecc.) e il suo linguaggio di programmazione. Raccogliere un adeguato numero di pareri favorevoli da parte di utenti esperti con esperienza di gestione di bot Per presentare una richiesta di revoca, inserirla in questa stessa sezione Aggiungi la tua richiesta qui sotto copiando lo schema!

To obtain a bot flag you have to: Register a bot account with the word bot in the username. Something like YourusernameBot. Username with non-latin types are not allowed. Please identify the maintainer and add a discussion page where we can contact you. Add in this page a short description of the bot's purpose, which software(s) it uses (e.g. AutoWikiBrowser, PyWikipediaBot, etc.) and the used programming language Bot has to be approved by fair number of expert "bot-skilled" users Please note that automatic approval is not allowed. To present a request for revocation, insert it in this section; the flag will be revoked by a bureaucrat. Add your request in this page copying the form!

• Scopo/Purpose: identifies dead links and tags them as such. (The bot is not configured to add archive links on Wikivoyage as those can be misleading e.g. linking to the hours of a restaurant that burned down ten years ago).

 Fatto Cyberpower678, Harej, now InternetArchiveBot has been flagged as a bot.

What we need here in Wikivoyage in general, and in it:voy in particular, is just to highlight when an external link is a dead link through the Template:Dead link that activate the relevant categories. No need to substitute it with an archived link (it would be worse).
